Dr. Barias is a board-certified specialist in prosthodontics. She received her dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed a residency in Advanced Education in Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center in New York City where she earned the award for Excellence in Implant Dentistry. She then went on to complete her specialty in Prosthodontics at University of Illinois Chicago where she furthered her training on conventional and implant supported restorations. In addition to private practice, Dr. Barias holds hospital appointment as a prosthodontist at the BC Cancer Agency, where she is engaged by the unique oral rehabilitation challenges of cancer patients.

Since 2010, Dr. Barias has helped many patients regain comfortable basic oral functions in a nurturing, calm and caring environment. Dr. Barias enjoys treating the complex aging dentition. She understands the functional difficulties that can occur when teeth are worn or missing and she can provide customized treatment options that can fit a patient’s oral needs and lifestyle.

When not practicing, Dr. Barias enjoys traveling with her multigenerational family and experiencing new places through their eyes.
