Dental Implants

Dental implants and crowns on dental implants are machine-made replacements for lost teeth.  Modern Dental Implants are threaded screws which when they become fused to bone can receive and hold attachments for posts and crowns or other types of connectors for other attachments. Dental implants can be used to anchor on a single missing tooth, multiple missing teeth, or support a denture, or even restore an entire mouth of lost natural teeth.

There are two phases to implant dentistry. The first is to successfully implant the artificial root(s) into the bone. The second is to do a restoration with laboratory fabricated crown(s) bridge(s) or other prosthesis. We are able to work with many implant systems such as:  Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Zimmer, Sybron Implant Direct, and others. No one implant system is ideal for all patients and all situations.  Because of our broad experience with implants we are able to be versatile and selective in utilizing the best system for the situation on hand for optimum results.

In our office we are expert in performing both the surgery and the restorative phase. We have done thousands of implants and implant restorations ranging from single teeth to complete dentitions in one or both jaws. We have our own private in-house dental lab and our technicians are highly skilled in creating the definitive laboratory elements of the restoration.  We utilize the latest in CAD-CAM technology and materials to create our end products.
